EXPERIENCE

Everyday we get up in the morning and go about our normal business. We encounter men of God’s creation going through severe difficult times ranging from alcohol, drug (substance abuse), poor mental and physical health, severe economic and financial incapacitations, hunger, homelessness and not limited to moral decadence.

Several residents of this great United States of America including the citizens suffer all forms of profiling, bias, stereotype, prejudice, false accusations and assumptions, discrimination, and injustice for reasons beyond their control e.g. race, beliefs, sex, disability, nationality, creed, political affiliation, abuse of power, etc.

These actions undermine the life and dignity of human person and violate our constitution, values, and belief as a nation. What can you do to stop it? Say something to someone who can. Join us or donate to help us help those who have no one to stand up for them. Help us stand on their ground, connect them with resources, treat or rehabilitate them.

We are the most generous citizens and nation in the world but we are not doing enough to protect our citizenship. We mean our patriotic duty within our self, our family, and then our community through civic participation, selfless giving and services to one another; being and defending America. In as much as it is true that our culture and tradition support individualism, however, can we be self centered and at the same time be most philanthropic, most loving and caring and hateful; a paradox? We all as citizens of this great nation owe it to one another to protect, love and care for our self, one another, our families, our communities, our societies and most importantly, THIS GOD GIVEN GREAT NATION! We can do that by defending our values found in the founding document and our daily lives. That is why we all migrated from all over the world to unite and to build a united nation, indivisible, under God.

We could see how much our children and families are suffering in the face of this great and powerful nation filled with God’s own people. They are crying out loud trying to reach out to someone, yet for some reason, it does not seem like we always listen, hear or answer them. We are not doing enough. When we see them, sometimes we ignore them because it is not close to us or home. We are very busy pursuing what is not that very important. We make the most important thing in our life less important.

What can you do? Can you help? Become a member! Donate or sponsor a program!! Volunteer your time!!! Donate your service!!! Remember there is only one UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! A GREAT NATION!! OUR NATION!!!

REFLECTIONS

"On every question of construction, [let us] carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or invented against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed." --------------- Thomas Jefferson

"If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself." ------------ The Federalist, Essays by Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, and James Madison

"...influence is no government... If, to please the people, we offer what we ourselves disapprove, how can we afterwards defend our work? Let us raise a standard to which the wise and honest can repair. The event is in the hand of God" ----------------- George Washington
