Family Service Center
We are accepting application to our Family Fun Program. In this program, we provide opportunity and facilitate family development of necessary social, leisure, and recreational skills. We also use this time to support, encourage, and motivate members and their family to develop an individualized hobby with the support of other members of the family. We believe that every family deserve a down-time in their daily life. Parents are encouraged to make any of these events privileged for their children as an evidence-based "Token Economy" based on positive behavior towards their individualized life goals you set with and by the children. Membership fees cost money and members have to earn this privilege through showing of good work within their family. Parents can also threat themselves with a fun trip. We also research to see how this program improve the quality of the life of our members. Research has shown that one person who earned an undergraduate degree in a family will lift that family out of poverty. Activities like this stimulate academic growth and helps to form cohesion within the family unit. It helps them to understand how they function as a unit which informs behavior change. We include family or significant other in our plan of care and provide trainings that support independent care. Family involvement and support are essential to recovery.
