Orientations and Trainings

At Holy Trinity Family Support Center, we believe that knowledge, preparation, and continued support are essential to healing and recovery. Our orientation and training programs provide individuals, families, caregivers, and community members with practical information and skills to promote safety, independence, wellness, and quality of life.
 
Training is personalized to each participant’s needs and may begin with an assessment to identify appropriate services, resources, and referrals.

Caregiver and Clinical Support Training

We provide education and guidance for individuals and caregivers who support people with complex or changing health needs. Training may include:
  • Wound and catheter care
  • Care and prevention of pressure ulcers
  • Ventilator operation, monitoring, and safety
  • Medication management and health-condition monitoring
  • Infusion therapy and specialized nutrition support
  • Care transitions following a change in health status
  • Recognizing changes in condition and knowing when to seek additional assistance
  • Communication with healthcare providers and support teams
Our goal is to help caregivers feel informed, prepared, and confident while supporting the well-being of those in their care.

Family and Child Support Orientations

Families may receive guidance and training related to developmental, behavioral, educational, and social needs. Support may include:

  • Family preservation and caregiver support
  • Cultural awareness and stigma reduction

Community Health Education

Holy Trinity Family Support Center offers educational opportunities designed to strengthen community awareness and well-being. Topics may include:
